Matty is an artist who values working in a wandering fashion. He makes drawings and paintings habitually, like how someone might write in a journal. In this way his work is intended to capture and expand on daily, often fleeting or vague experience. Relying on a fixation on the commonplace, and the fostering of idiosyncratic expression, he  creates pictures that recognize the intricacies in ordinary awareness.
